The Round Table session started at 11.00 am in the Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery with the group and Dawn Woolley co-curator of Still Life Things Devouring Time.

The Thursday and Friday last week were days out of the office and studying books and papers but taking the time to listen to a varied range of papers delivered as part of the Aesthetica Conference.  There were lots of professionals attending and it was quite successful.    The sessions that I booked on were about Art Films, Curator - Getty Images, Technology and Futures, and a brilliant lecture by a Sound Artist Nick Ryan, which was very inspiring.    There were lots of networking moments, meeting people from different parts of the industry and taking note of new developments.   There was time to go and see the York Gallery where the exhibition for the prize is being displayed.   Also looking forward to the coming exhibition about Ruskin and Turner - the landscapes and their story!
