EXHIBITION: Still Life: Things Devouring Time, 21st Nov 2018 - 23rd March 2019

An exhibition exploring consumer culture, sustainability and still life. This exhibition explores the notion of consumerism through the lens of historical and contemporary still life artworks. Bringing together works by contemporary artists Simon Ward, Dawn Woolley, Caroline McCarthy and Nicole Keeley with Still Life with Drinking-Horn by Willem Kalf, a 17th century Dutch still life painting on loan from The National Gallery. The exhibition is co-curated by Dr Dawn Woolley (Leeds Arts University), and is generously supported by Leeds Arts University.
