The reaction is different outside the gallery forum, she comments that people are more aware of the weather and time, of it in an new way unexpectedly, unformatted space - it is not a controlled environment. It can make a difference to the way we are with the work as the distance between art work outside the gallery we are part of the art work.
We are to used to the rules of the galleries and museum as spaces of ritual and that they look like temples and is it a question of being a performer, talking very quietly, moving to a set pattern around a gallery space. The gallery can often resemble a temple and for that reason can be upholding subconsciously to this sort of (Carole Duncan) ritualist mode of engaging with the art, or whatever is being displayed.

Involved people directly with its size and structure - it had interaction by leaving milk bottles and notes left there and for sale signs put there, the sculpture was about gentrification and perhaps the interaction with it by people in the community.
